We are hosting our yoga teacher training and advanced studies program in the spirit of humility, exploration and personal growth. We have spent countless hours studying and teaching yoga and time well-spent on researching curriculum and teachings that speak to us and are excited to share our version of the gifts of yoga with you.

Most students will participate to learn more about yoga and focus on their own health and well-being. Many will want to teach. We are offering our training in a learning format that is slow and steady and accessible to most students without the intensive format that can be too much, too fast. This way you will have time to digest the material and integrate it into your body, practice, and teaching.

The courses are approved by the Yoga Alliance, meeting their rigorous standards for yoga teacher training programs. ToLY endeavors to break free of any dogmatic approach to teaching yoga, therefore teaching a multi-style approach which will provide a solid foundation. You do not need to desire to be a teacher to complete this program. You only need a desire to grow to reach new heights as you become more grounded and peaceful through this ancient practice.

ToLY RYT500 Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Studies

A 300 hour, 12-month program open to students who hold an RYT200 Yoga Alliance Certification and would like to deepen their studies for in-depth teaching or for their own personal journey.

Program Description:

The program is unique and designed to prepare students to teach at a deeper level in both their public and private sessions through an expansive journey resulting in a direct experience of the unification and oneness of yoga. ToLY offers this in a laboratory format that includes asana, psychology, science, research, functional anatomy, self-contemplation, Ayurveda, philosophy, and in-depth study and practicum of Classic Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative tracks including embodied movement practices.

It is designed to further what has been learned in the RYT200 Hour training program, and provides more inward-depth and outward-teaching application. The aim of this training is to aid in the development of Yoga Teachers who are leaders and will have the skills to positively impact their students. In order to accomplish this aim, we will study in-depth the internal space within which the teacher learns, grows, teaches and leads.

We will seek to refine the teaching role in the classroom to achieve a level of mastery not only as a teacher but also as a leader in our community.

Many students who enroll in an RYT500 program have some interest in teaching Yoga, however, a desire to teach is not required to enroll in this course. For those who are interested in teaching, this program can expand their knowledge and experience to become better prepared to teach Yoga, but also to increase their competitive edge.

This program goes above and beyond the requirements of Yoga Alliance and is deeply inspired by the philosophical and ethical roots of yoga and its healing potential. This professional level teacher training program goes much further than most certifications. Students who complete this program will be prepared and offered experiential training in the leading and creation of and to run their own intensives and workshops, run successful private client practices, and will have the training that it takes to raise the vibration of their public classes. Graduates can expect their verbal skills to be fine-tuned and both their personal practice and teaching skills to be challenged as well as be prepared for their own next level of offerings.

All of ToLY’s RYT programs feature experienced and high-quality faculty that are the best-of-the-best specialists in their field to help contextualize the practice of yoga in its anatomical, philosophical and physiological realities, and its many styles.

Application process

We require a minimum of six months experience of practicing yoga and a desire to enhance your own Yoga practice and your knowledge of the ancient tradition to apply to the 200TT and you must hold a valid Yoga Alliance 200TT certification to apply for the 500TT. You will complete the application for ToLY’s YTT, submit it with your application fee and deposit, and will be set up for an interview for the program.

We are limiting the number of students to ensure quality of instruction and to be able to offer an in-depth experience for the students so register early to be included.
