What do I need to bring?

You will need a mat and we also recommend you have a towel and some water. If you do not own a mat, we rent them for $2 and also have high-quality mats for sale. 

Do I have to pre-register for daily classes?

All regular classes at Tree of Life Yoga are open for drop in but pre-registration is preferred. Please arrive 15 minutes before class on your first visit so that we can familiarize you with our studios.

Do I need to bring my own water?

Tree of Life Yoga provides filtered water. Please bring your own water bottle or purchase one of our ecovessel® bottles so that we can collectively minimize our carbon footprint on the environment.

What do I wear?

Yoga is practiced in bare feet, and in comfortable clothing. Layers are recommended as you will warm up and cool down over the duration of the class. Throw on something comfy and come join us!

What if I arrive late to class?

To minimize disruption to your fellow students, we allow late comers to enter the studio once the opening meditation is complete. For everyone’s benefit including your own, please do your best to arrive on time. If late and you are allowed in, please enter the room as quietly as possible.

Cell Phones

Please turn off your cell phone before entering the studio or leave it in your car. For obvious reasons e-mailing and texting during class is just not cool.


Please remove your shoes when entering the studio. Cubbies are available near the front door. We regularly steralize the studio and want to minimize those pesky germs in our clean space.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is plentiful in the center’s lot outside the studio doors.

There are different level classes - which one should I take?

We have listed a description of each class for your convenience. While many classes may be suitable for all levels, sometimes you may find yourself needing a bit more or less on a particular day. If you are still unsure please ask our knowledgeable staff to assist you.

I have some old injuries from sports - can I still do yoga?

Yes! Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in finding the right class for you. Please let the teacher know of your injury so they can modify the poses for you. 

How can I do yoga if I'm not flexible?

Yes! Our window states “no flexibility required." Yoga is for every BODY. 

What style of yoga do you offer?

We have a wide variety of classes to chose from; Restorative, Gentle, Power, Yin, Warm, Meditation, Core strength, etc. We will continue to add classes as the students request if we can.

How early should I get there before class?

At least 15 minutes before to familiarize yourself with the studio and teacher.

Is it OK to eat before going to class?

We recommend a small snack that will keep up your energy. Bring water to stay hydrated. We do not recommend eating a big meal before class.

How can I find out about schedule changes?

Our website has up to date information on MindBody. When you register for a class you will see if a teacher has been substituted or a class has been changed. 

How long are classes?

Most classes are 75 minutes however the schedule lists the length of each class.
