Karla Hollan will always be a student of yoga as she believes that yoga is a way of life. Her first thousand hours of study started two decades ago under the greatest American yoga teachers: Rodney Yee, Erich Schiffman, Lilias Folan, and Nischala Devi, to name a few. Karla has taught since the late 90’s with several years off to attain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has recently returned to more structured training for her RYT and will likely pursue her Yoga Therapist License. She continues to study a form of PT that focuses on optimal diaphragmatic breathing and she integrates this specialty into her yoga classes. She has a passion for getting mindfulness training into the school system and has designed a program called “M3” (Mini-Mindful-Moments).
In addition to teaching yoga, Karla creates content for corporate wellness programs and is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. Her other favorite things are spending outdoor time with family and friends, seeing her client’s “ah-ha” moments, and aerial yoga!
